Greater St. Louis Area CouncilHigh Ridge Township, MO
Onsite

About The Position

Since 1911, Greater St. Louis Area Scouting has helped young people grow into responsible leaders through outdoor adventure, hands-on learning, and fun activities. Our goal is to help build strong individuals and a better community. The Camp Caretaker works as part of a small on-site team that helps take care of Beaumont Scout Reservation. This role focuses on day-to-day upkeep of the campgrounds, helping visitors have a positive experience, and making sure the property is safe, clean, and welcoming. This position does not include a salary. Instead, the Camp Caretaker is provided free on-site housing and utilities in exchange for 80 hours of work per month. This makes it a great opportunity for someone looking for a low-cost living arrangement while contributing to the care of a large outdoor property.
