About The Position

As a Camera Operator, you will be responsible for inspecting and sorting recycled materials. Principal Duties & Responsibilities Obtain/record event shots and footage per management and client direction to achieve desired “look” for video shoots; this includes creating camera angles on set Create effective and thorough shot lists to ensure all necessary shots and footages are gathered for each project Work with other departments to create concepts, lighting, and visuals that are consistent with the desired goal/outcome of each video production Operate camera to record scenes utilizing multiple camera formats, including Beta, DV-Cam, Mini-DV, and HD Cam, to record and capture footage Setup and breakdown equipment, including lighting, green screens, Teleprompters, and monitors Maintain and update archive library content as well as applicable filing systems used to store and locate footage and tapes Ensure equipment is continuously maintained and in working order; report any issues to management

Requirements

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays Required
  • Knowledgeable of various camera equipment
  • Knowledgeable of various lighting techniques and mechanisms
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
  • Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards

Nice To Haves

  • Performs other job-related duties as requested
  • Associate's Degree or vocational training in video production Preferred
  • 1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience in video production, sports TV broadcasts, or related field that includes experience with using multiple camera formats, lavalier and shotgun mics, and various lighting/video production equipment Preferred
  • Experience working in a professional sports entertainment Preferred
  • Experience working in a similar resort setting Preferred
