About The Position

The CAM Supervisor is responsible for the overall supervision and coordination of their assigned area to ensure the production of high-quality products in compliance with schedules. This role involves planning, organizing, and achieving daily, weekly, monthly, and annual goals related to safety, quality, productivity, on-time delivery, and cost performance. The supervisor will monitor performance metrics, implement corrective actions, and foster an environment that motivates employees for high performance. They will also apply structured problem-solving methods to improve performance.

Requirements

  • Understanding of printed circuit board manufacturing.
  • Ability to interpret essential build documentation including data, blueprints, customer and industry specs.
  • Good English and mathematical skills.
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Good software skills with working knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Ability to work 10 hours a day, 5 days a week.
  • Flexible to work weekends as needed.
  • Minimum 2+ years’ technical related experience or equivalent in a manufacturing or design environment.
  • Previous experience in a Lead or Supervisory role.
  • Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident to access ITAR product and related technical data.
  • Recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation.
  • Understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL).
  • Understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US.
  • Manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.

Nice To Haves

  • Computer hardware skills are a plus.
  • Knowledge of Linux OS.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise through effective selection, training, and performance evaluation of team members, including delegation and follow-up.
  • Partner with HR to lead the hiring process for new production personnel.
  • Lead shift personnel in daily operations to meet production requirements.
  • Schedule and assign work within the unit to regulate workflow and meet required schedules, ensuring a focus on quality and on-time deliveries.
  • Identify and resolve or escalate issues related to product, equipment, quality, safety, and employee relations in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the manager to establish a level workload.
  • Meet daily and weekly production schedules.
  • Attend AM production meetings and provide backlog updates.
  • Complete all job-related paperwork accurately, timely, and ethically.
  • Maintain a high degree of quality in all work performed.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance of all manufacturing areas.
  • Develop and mentor personnel through coaching, guidance, and training.
  • Create a work environment where employee engagement and participation in improvement are expected and encouraged.
  • Enforce departmental policies and ensure procedures are followed.
  • Advance in technology to constantly raise the level of quality.
  • Ensure all necessary documents, files, employee records, and information are protected and kept confidential.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
  • Communicate regularly to supervisors and managers, suggest and compose procedural changes and process improvements, maintain a clean, safe work environment, and communicate safety hazards and issues to supervisors.
  • Follow all company safety requirements.
  • Comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC.
