About The Position

We are seeking an experienced CAM Programmer to support our precision machining operations by developing and optimizing CNC programs for complex components. This role works closely with machinists, engineering, and production teams to ensure quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery. This is a high-mix, low-volume precision machining environment where every day brings a new project.

Requirements

3+ years of CAM programming, CNC programming, or CNC machining experience
Proficiency with Mastercam, Siemens NX CAM, or equivalent CAM software
Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling, and cutting strategies
Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T requirements
Experience programming complex, tight-tolerance machined components
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam, Siemens NX CAM, or similar CAM software
Develop machining strategies for CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis equipment
Review engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T requirements
Select tooling, work holding, cutting parameters, and machining sequences
Support machine setup, prove-outs, first-piece inspections, and troubleshooting
Improve cycle times, tooling performance, and overall machining efficiency
Collaborate with machinists and engineering teams to solve manufacturing challenges
Maintain program revisions, setup documentation, and process records
