About The Position

This is a self-directed position requiring the person to read and understand micrometers to accurately machine the surfaces. Requires positioning camshaft from conveyor line, processing through machine, and returning down conveyor. Knowing, understanding, and performing machine set-up and preventive maintenance is required. Requirements

Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
Ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx. 8-10 hours).
Ability to use handheld tools such as micrometers.

Responsibilities

Polish camshafts using a polish lathe.
Read and understand micrometers to accurately machine surfaces.
Position camshaft from conveyor line, process through machine, and return down conveyor.
Perform machine set-up and preventive maintenance.
