GMWarren, MI

About The Position

At General Motors, our product teams are redefining mobility. Through a human-centered design process, we create vehicles and experiences that are designed not just to be seen, but to be felt. We’re turning today’s impossible into tomorrow’s standard —from breakthrough hardware and battery systems to intuitive design, intelligent software, and next-generation safety and entertainment features. Every day, our products move millions of people as we aim to make driving safer, smarter, and more connected, shaping the future of transportation on a global scale. The Role The Compartment Architecture Manager (CAM) serves as the single voice of a single vehicle Compartment area, uniting Engineering Functions, Manufacturing, and Studio with a shared vision. This role is the leader of collaboration, guiding all stakeholders to deliver outstanding Integration Solutions with precision and excellence. The CAM will lead and manage a small team of CIDEs. Ultimately the CAM is responsible for the total integration of their compartment within an architecture (multiple programs). The CAM will focus on execution that moves GM towards less PNs, less BEC, and lower TEC. All of this needs to be done with maintaining the program profile. Work within a compartment will go much deeper than it ever has before. The CAM will be responsible for driving all team members within the compartment to go further.
