About The Position

Tandia Financial is seeking Call Centre Associates for their Call Centre in Ancaster, Ontario. This role is full-time and permanent. The position involves marketing all credit union products and services, efficiently meeting member needs, and accurately processing credit applications. Associates are the primary source for soliciting new business by following up on member contacts, promoting, up-selling, and cross-selling lending and investment products to meet growth targets. The role also includes managing a portfolio of accounts to increase member wallet share and achieve annual business plan targets.

Requirements

  • High school diploma plus 4-6 years job related experience or some college plus 2-3 years job related experience or Completion of college/university plus one year of job-related experience
  • Understanding of credit union’s business objectives
  • Credit union products and services at 80% minimum Working Knowledge proficiency
  • Knowledge of policies and legalities regarding lending and deposit services
  • Knowledge of credit union philosophies and principles
  • Knowledge of mathematical calculations on ratios and amortization schedules
  • Knowledge of credit union computer system
  • In-depth knowledge of investment products including all registered plans
  • Solid knowledge of credit union lending products as well as laws and regulations relating to lending, mortgage documentation and administration

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to promote, up-sell and cross-sell the credit union’s investment products including: savings accounts, term deposits, and registered plans.
  • Efficiently interview members to promote, up-sell and cross-sell consumer loans, mortgages, lines of credit and credit cards.
  • Refer comprehensive financial planning needs of members to a member of the Wealth Management Team.
  • Implement activities to actively promote and cross-sell the products and services of the credit union through personal contact telephone marketing.
  • Complete assigned outbound calling to achieve credit union assigned projects such as term renewals, age benefit updates, and others as assigned.
  • Interpret and apply credit union procedures and policies to ensure compliance.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned.
