MO-SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - Lake Saint Louis Worker Type: PRN Job Highlights: Monday- Friday Variable shifts -The candidate is required to have open availability and flexibility. 7:00AM -3:00PM and 3:00PM-11:00PM Call Center/ Security Dispatcher This is a PRN role; the position is not eligible for Benefits. The role is as needed bases (minimum of 1shift per month) The position is in the Security Department, answering incoming calls; dispatch for the Security Department; monitors fire alarms. Job Summary: Answers incoming calls and performs triage of inquiries.

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience
• Call Center experience required- High Volume of incoming and outgoing calls (12,000 calls a month and dispatch abut 5,000 radio calls to Security).
• Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
• Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
• Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication.
• Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
• Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
• Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
• Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
• Rare climbing.

Responsibilities

• Answers incoming calls and performs triage of inquiries.
• Responds to telephone and/or Internet inquiries from customers seeking information and/or resources following a set standard.
• Collects relevant caller data to assist with measurement, tracking and reporting activities.
• Track inquires, questions and answers and provide resolution.
• May perform clerical or administrative duties.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
