About The Position

We are looking for a full-time Call Center Representative that will be the liaison between our practice and its current and potential patients. The successful candidate must have previous experience working in a fast-paced call center environment and be able to effectively schedule 50+ appointments per day, address inquiries, and handle urgent calls, always prioritizing patient satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a customer support/call center role
  • Familiarity with complex multi-line phone systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills along with active listening
  • Strong computer and keyboarding skills
  • Patient focus and adaptability to different personality types
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
  • High school degree

Responsibilities

  • Manage large amounts of inbound calls in a timely manner
  • Schedule appointments for 9 providers
  • Follow communication “scripts” when handling different patient calls
  • Identify patients’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives
  • Takes accurate messages as required and delivers to correct department
  • Build sustainable relationships and engage patients by taking the extra mile
  • Keep records of all conversations in our call center database in a comprehensible way
  • Obtain insurance authorizations when required
