About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous call center or medical office experience preferred
• Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and manage high call volumes
• Basic computer skills and experience with electronic systems
• Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
• Minimum 1 year experience in the medical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls in a timely and professional manner
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
• Assist patients with general inquiries, directions, and basic information
• Route calls to appropriate departments or clinical staff as needed
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information
• Document all patient interactions accurately in the system
• Maintain a high level of customer service and patient confidentiality
• Support front office operations as needed
