About The Position
Our client, a leader in the insurance industry, is looking to hire a Call Center Representative to join their team in Halifax on a 6-month contract basis. This is a hybrid position in Halifax, NS. The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
Requirements
- 2+ years of customer service experience in a high-volume fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong typing, organization, and multi-tasking abilities
- Strong technological skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work on-site in Halifax or Waterloo 3 days/week
- This role requires availability Monday – Friday between 8am – 8pm EST / 9am – 9pm AST

- Experience within a call center would be an asset
Responsibilities
- Handle approximately 50 inbound customer calls per day
- Assist members with inquiries related to: RRSPs, Group Retirement Savings Plans, Pension Plans, Workplace Savings Programs, Investment Accounts
- Explain account balances, contributions, withdrawals, and plan features
- Support clients with website navigation, online access, and login troubleshooting
- Provide accurate information regarding products, services, and retirement savings options
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience while navigating multiple systems in a fast-paced environment
- Adhere to compliance, privacy, and regulatory requirements
