About The Position

Answer inbound patient calls, responding to medical concerns and questions Provide accurate information on medications, treatments, and healthcare services Document patient interactions in electronic health records (EHRs) Triage urgent patient concerns, escalating to healthcare providers as needed Schedule appointments and follow-up care Educate patients on self-care and disease management Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure continuity of care

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• 2+ years experience in healthcare, preferably in patient care
• Experience in call center or customer servicepreferred
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to empathize with patients and families
• Proficiency inElectronic Health Records (EHRs e.g., Epic, Cerner)
• Good organizational skills required
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Publisher

Nice To Haves

• Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, NCMA, or CCMA) preferred
• Bilingual or multilingual skillsa plus
