About The Position

Wake Orthopedics, a multi-specialty orthopaedic group with multiple locations in Wake County, NC, is seeking a certified Scheduling Representative to fill a full-time Call Center position in our Raleigh office location. Our practices provide a full range of orthopaedic services including advanced diagnostic imaging, innovative treatment options, minimally invasive and traditional procedures, and rehabilitation services. Whether it be recovering from a broken bone, joint replacement surgery, a sports injury or a fracture – our goal is to get patients back to doing the things they love. Requirements

  • Two years’ experience in medical office is preferred but will train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with the patient in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Register patient in EHR including insurance verification.
  • Schedule patient appointments based on provider availability and preference.
  • Answer inbound calls and direct patient’s question to appropriate staff member.
  • Prioritize patient calls based on current policy.
  • Communicate with clinical staff as needed to ensure patient medical questions are answered timely.
  • Document accurately within our EHR, Epic.
  • Other duties will be assigned by management as needed.
