About The Position

This role involves answering and triaging inbound calls in a high-volume call center environment. The Call Center Agent will assist patients and caregivers with various inquiries, provide general assistance to other callers promptly, and forward patient requests to appropriate clinical staff in a timely manner. A key responsibility includes entering patient information into the electronic health records (EHR) system. The agent will also be responsible for recognizing and escalating complex issues to the Call Center Team Lead or Manager for guidance, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of physician and provider schedules, clinic updates, and business office protocols. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience in a high-volume call center.
  • Ability to assist patients and caregivers with various inquiries.
  • Proficiency in entering patient information into an EHR system.
  • Skill in recognizing and escalating complex issues.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of physician and provider schedules, clinic updates, and business office protocols.
  • Completion of the Predictive Index assessment is required as part of the application process.
