About The Position
The Freelance Firm is a national network of experienced, high-level, freelance attorneys and paralegals who provide remote, on-demand support for both short-term and long-term legal projects for client law firms. Due to increased demand, we are interviewing for a qualified, experienced, and dedicated California-based Complex Commercial/Business Litigation Attorney. Remote work hours will vary, but are expected to be approximately 10+ hours per week.
Requirements
- Licensed in good standing to practice law in the State of California
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Commercial/Business Litigation
- Well-organized and proven ability to meet deadlines
- Self-starter and able to work independently
Responsibilities
- Drafting (contract revisions; pleadings; motions/responses; discovery; anything else during the lifecycle of a case)
- Research projects (high-level)
- All general back-end production
Benefits
- Pay rate starts at $85/hour
