Calibration Technician
About The Position
The Calibration Technician performs routine maintenance, calibration, and basic repairs on laboratory equipment under established procedures and with guidance from experienced technicians or management. The role uses a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document, track, and complete equipment maintenance and calibration activities. The technician coordinates with onsite vendors and service providers for scheduled maintenance, calibration, and repairs; assists with reviewing vendor documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with good documentation practices; and supports investigations into calibration failures, equipment issues, and other instrument-related problems.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Certified Calibration Technician certification.
- Experience working in CLIA and R&D laboratory environments.
