About The Position

Verdantas is seeking a hands-on Technician for its Calibration Team in Holden, Massachusetts. The role supports accurate flow calibration by assembling and managing complex piping systems and preparing and maintaining physical setups used for calibration runs. The position involves pipe assembly and disassembly, equipment handling, shipment preparation, basic facility mechanical maintenance, and close collaboration with team members in a dynamic, physical work environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to safely lift and move up to 40 lbs.
Mechanical aptitude and experience using basic hand tools and performing facility maintenance.
Attention to detail for precise pipe assembly, alignment, and secure connections.
Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and adapt to varied pipe sizes and layouts.
Forklift experience or willingness to learn.
Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate effectively.
Reliability and safety awareness when handling equipment and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Responsibilities

Assemble and disassemble pipe configurations for testing.
Ensure accurate alignment and secure connections.
Prepare physical setups for calibration runs in support of testing technicians.
Assist with forklift operations to move pipe sections and load and unload trucks.
Unpack and repack pipe sections for shipment.
Use basic hand tools.
Perform general facility mechanical maintenance.
Follow safety protocols and comply with company policies.
Collaborate with team members to complete work efficiently and effectively.
