About The Position

Our customers count on their test and measurement equipment to be accurate, because their safety, quality, and compliance depend on it. As a Calibration Lab Technician I, you'll help make sure every instrument that leaves our lab performs exactly as it should. In this role, you will clean, inspect, calibrate, repair, and certify instruments across electrical, dimensional, physical, mechanical, and optical disciplines. You'll start in our in-house metrology lab, learning hands-on from our Lab Manager, Technical Manager, and Lead Technicians, and you'll also support onsite work at customer locations, putting your skills to work in the field. This is an ideal starting point for someone with a solid foundation in math, a curiosity about how things work, and the discipline to follow procedures carefully. Whether you're coming from a technical program, the military, or a related field, we'll help you build a career in calibration.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Comfort with general math, algebra, and basic statistics, plus basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree, technical school, or military training in measurement science, calibration, or electronics, or experience calibrating electronic, physical, dimensional, or mechanical equipment.

  • Deliver accurate documentation. Record calibration data and prepare complete, accurate reports and certificates that customers can rely on.
