Salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. Estimated hourly base pay: $20.67 - $26.92. Plus, shift differential and overtime. The Love Park Campus is hiring a Calibration Tech on 2nd Shift (Monday – Friday, 2:00pm – 10:30am). Requirements

  • Precision: Performs accurate measurements and calibrations to ensure equipment meets specified standards.
  • Technical Documentation: Follows standard operating procedures and records calibration data meticulously.
  • Quality Assurance: Adheres to quality guidelines to maintain high standards in all calibration activities.
  • Equipment Operation: Operates and maintains calibration tools and equipment effectively.
  • Analytical Skills: Utilizes basic analytical methods to evaluate equipment performance and identify discrepancies.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicates technical information clearly with team members to support collective objectives.
  • Problem Identification: Recognizes and addresses straightforward issues using established procedures.
  • Time Management: Efficiently manages routine calibration tasks within designated time frames.
  • Safety Compliance: Observes safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment during calibration processes.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintains a high level of accuracy and thoroughness in all calibration related tasks.
  • This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). All applicants must be U.S. Persons within the meaning of the ITAR and EAR, or eligible to obtain all required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce. The ITAR defines a U.S. Person as a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident (i.e., 'Green Card holder'), or a protected person (e.g., asylee, or refugee).

Responsibilities

  • Perform Equipment Calibration: Conduct routine calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment according to established standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain Calibration Records: Accurately document calibration data and maintain detailed records to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Support Maintenance Activities: Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of calibration tools and systems under the guidance of senior technicians.
  • Adhere to Quality Standards: Follow all quality guidelines and protocols to ensure the accuracy and reliability of calibration processes.
  • Communicate Technical Information: Share calibration results and technical information effectively with team members to facilitate collaborative operations.
