About The Position

The Instrumentation Calibration Technician I is responsible for inspecting, testing, calibrating, and maintaining plant instrumentation and equipment to ensure accurate, reliable operation in support of manufacturing and food safety requirements. This entry‑level role works under supervision and in accordance with established safety, quality, and maintenance protocols. The technician is expected to complete required training and the Calibration Technician Job Position (JPM) within six (6) months of hire and obtain the ISA CCST level 1 Certification within two (2) years of hire.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • One (1) year of instrumentation, calibration, or industrial maintenance experience preferred
  • Must hold or be willing to obtain a recognized calibration certification (e.g., ISA CCST) within required timelines (2 Years)
  • Familiarity with calibration standards, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
  • Basic understanding of instrumentation and process control principles (pressure, temperature, flow, level)
  • Experience using calibration equipment such as multimeters, process calibrators, and precision measuring devices
  • Ability to use computers and software systems such as SAP, Excel, and Microsoft Word
  • Strong documentation and recordkeeping skills
  • Ability to complete Certificates of Calibration and Accuracy accurately
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and safety requirements
  • Candidates must successfully complete a Ramsay assessment test
  • Candidates must complete a hands‑on technical skills evaluation as part of the interview process
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require The Coca-Cola Company's sponsorship to continue to work legally in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical or vocational training in instrumentation, electronics, or industrial maintenance preferred
  • Exposure to GMP or regulated manufacturing environments preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform calibration of instrumentation and equipment including pressure, temperature, flow, torque, and process measurement devices
  • Assist in troubleshooting and basic repair of instrumentation and control components
  • Interpret P&ID drawings and follow calibration procedures and work instructions
  • Verify instrument accuracy, performance, and compliance with plant, customer, and regulatory requirements
  • Document and log calibration results, deviations, and corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate calibration, maintenance, and work order records in SAP CMMS
  • Generate Certificates of Accuracy and Instrument Inadequacy forms as required
  • Support audits by preparing calibration documentation and reports
  • Follow all plant safety, GMP, food safety, and housekeeping (5S) requirements
  • Use precision measuring devices, multimeters, and calibration tools properly
  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, quality, and operations teams to reduce downtime and improve reliability
  • Participate in training, skill development, and continuous improvement activities
