About The Position
Acuren is seeking a Calibration Tech I for field-based operations in Davenport, Iowa. The successful candidate will use expertise as a Calibration Assistant to add value for clients and communicate professionally and clearly with management, clients, workers, and peers. The position includes a computer component and supports client operational reliability through asset condition management, vibration diagnostics, dynamic balancing, and additional predictive maintenance technologies.
Requirements
- Maintenance experience in an industrial, mechanical, or electrical/instrumentation and controls (E&I) background.
- Knowledge of and experience applying mechanical precision maintenance fundamentals.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Must be able to pass drug/alcohol and background screens per client requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Mechanical technologist or engineering diploma or degree.
- Industrial maintenance or facility operations experience.
- Knowledge of predictive technologies.
- Additional certificates in CAT, MLA/MLT, or IR.
Responsibilities
- Identify and manage asset conditions that could adversely affect client business operational reliability.
- Perform vibration diagnostics.
- Perform dynamic balancing.
- Use additional predictive maintenance technologies, including infrared, ultrasonic, and motor health technologies.
