About The Position

Software design and development of calibration and test software for our infrared sensing systems. Also responsible for the development of production support software and systems. Participation in every phase of a project, including requirements review, software design and coding, unit testing, system integration, and sustaining engineering.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with C, C#, and/or C++ programming
• Experience using AI tools for software development in a commercial product environment
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
• U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents

Nice To Haves

• Experience developing in Visual Studio
• Experience programming in an SQL Server environment
• Experience testing equipment in thermal chambers
• Understanding of embedded, multi-threaded software design and implementation (e.g., Embedded Linux, RTEMS, etc.)
• Ability to understand both the hardware and software components of embedded systems under test
• Knowledge of hardware subsystems and common peripheral buses, including I2C, SPI, and USB
• Ability to set up tool chains, build and debugging environments, and utilize debugging tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and similar equipment
• Experience with infrared and/or visible imaging technologies, image acquisition, and image processing
• Experience testing high-volume products
• Ability to design software in a manner that reduces test time
