About The Position

Deliver calibrations that ensure feature and diagnostic functionality and robustness in areas including but not limited to low voltage setpoint control, battery saver modes, and low voltage load management. Utilize system hardware and software troubleshooting skills to resolve issues and complete calibration standard work. Analyze large sets of data collected during various key-off, parked and driving maneuvers (in simulation, lab, dyno, and vehicle), tune the system response through calibration and identify areas requiring a change in controls. Develop and optimize calibrations to meet performance and timing requirements utilizing Calibration Standard Work. Conduct calibration reviews to ensure high quality calibrations. Organize, plan, and coordinate calibration activities with Lead Calibrators and Electric Power Controls Scrum Teams. Support identification of requirements for resources to develop calibrations. Diagnose and correct vehicle, system, and controls deficiencies. Support resolution of vehicle, plant, durability/dyno, or customer issues. Utilize analytical tools to develop and verify calibrations. Develop, use, and update calibration procedures. Participate in controls groups and support development of algorithms. Participate in development trips and related test activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineer, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or related field of study.
  • One (1) year of experience as a Senior Controls Engineer – Vehicle Control Module, Controls Software Engineer, or related occupation.
  • One (1) year of experience in Calibration Development, Optimization, and Validation including low voltage setpoint control, battery saver modes, load management strategies, and calibration standard work to ensure robust system performance across simulation, lab, and vehicle environments.
  • One (1) year of experience in Data Acquisition, Analysis, and Diagnostic Tools including INCA, Vehicle Spy, CRETA, MDA, and MATLAB/Simulink to collect, interpret, and troubleshoot large datasets from various test scenarios.
  • One (1) year of experience in Low Voltage Power Systems and Control Algorithms including energy storage, power distribution, consumption control, and collaboration with software and hardware teams to refine system behavior and implement calibration changes.
  • One (1) year of experience in Project Management.
