Requirements

  • Comfortable working around heavy machinery with a strong focus on safety
  • Physically fit with the ability to repeatedly lift weights up to 50 lbs
  • Clean-shaven appearance as per safety and operational requirements
  • Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and work instructions

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes
  • Previous experience in rubber processing or manufacturing environments
  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with industrial equipment

Responsibilities

  • Operate calendar mills and associated equipment to process rubber compounds according to work instructions and production schedules. Daily tasks include manually loading rubber into the mills, monitoring machine operation, and ensuring smooth workflow. Success means maintaining consistent, high-quality output with minimal downtime.
  • Monitor material quality, consistency, and thickness to ensure products meet required specifications. Perform quality checks continuously as the product moves through the machine to maintain standards.
  • Assist with mill setup and adjustments, prepare materials, and support continuous workflow aligned with production priorities. This role involves repetitive, hands-on work with the same machine and process.
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and collaborate effectively with a small, tight-knit team of 3-4 members, fostering good communication and teamwork.
