Grand Canyon University’s College of Humanities and Social Sciences is hiring an adjunct faculty member to teach Calculus and Analytic Geometry II in person at its Phoenix traditional campus during the Spring 2027 semester. The role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality instruction in a modern, collaborative environment with smaller class sizes, while supporting students’ academic, spiritual, and personal growth. The course is the second in a three-course sequence and provides a rigorous treatment of integral calculus concepts, methods, and applications. Topics include definite integrals, the fundamental theorem of calculus and integration rules; arc length, solids of revolution and physical applications; techniques of integration, improper integrals and an introduction to differential equations; polar coordinates, parametric equations, infinite sequences and series; power series and conic sections; and vector arithmetic, dot product and projections. The Spring semester begins January 4, 2027, and ends April 25, 2027. Final course grades are due May 2, 2027. Applicants must attach unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees.
