About The Position

The Cal Games Floor Person maintains the integrity of games while providing excellent customer service to patrons. The role involves monitoring dealer procedures and gaming decisions, supporting game operations, reporting concerns to the Shift Manager, and maintaining the designated area. This is a fast-paced position in a 24-hour work environment, and the employee must be able to work any shift and remain on their feet for the duration of the shift. Requirements

Must be able to communicate in English.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
High school diploma or GED.
Must have prior Cal-Games/Table Games experience in a casino and/or cardroom.
Must be able to work any shift.
Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift.

Nice To Haves

At least two years of dealing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Acknowledge and greet customers in a friendly, warm, and courteous manner.
Ensure dealers follow proper procedures and obtain the correct collection.
Watch for crowds or multiple backline bettors and help determine whether a new table needs to be opened.
Report problems and unusual or suspicious activities to the Shift Manager.
Ensure accurate gaming decisions are made according to company policies.
Never indicate that tips, “tokes,” or gratuities are expected for service.
Ensure service and cleanliness of the designated area.
Start and break games properly by providing correct table documentation.
Stay up to date on rules, procedures, and gaming promotions pertaining to the assigned section.
Attend meetings on time and in full uniform, ready to work.
Promptly and accurately record cash transactions that meet MTL thresholds in the MTL log.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned by the Shift Manager.
