About The Position

The Cake Decorator prepares and decorates cakes for multiple occasions and fills and conditions the cake case throughout the shift. The role includes managing cake out-dates, processing orders, maintaining cake and icing inventory, and keeping the decorating station stocked and sanitary. The position may also involve working in the deli and bakery areas. Other duties may be assigned or required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and decorate cakes for multiple occasions.
• Fill and condition the cake case throughout the shift.
• Manage cake out-dates daily.
• Receive and process cake orders.
• Manage cake and icing inventory.
• Maintain the cake decorating station, including preparing icing and following sanitation procedures.
• Maintain positive, friendly working relationships with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Stock and maintain products and displays according to quality and merchandising standards.
• Potentially work in deli and bakery areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
