About The Position

Decorate cakes and other baked goods according to customer specifications or established designs.

Requirements

• 1+ years of cake decorating experience
• Proficiency in various icing techniques (e.g., buttercream, fondant)
• Ability to create custom cake designs
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Food Handlers Certification required

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Prepare icings, fillings, and other cake decorating materials.
• Frost and decorate cakes and other baked goods using a variety of techniques.
• Ensure quality and consistency of decorated products.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Management reserves the right to assign additional tasks as necessary to support store operations.
• Employees will be provided with proper training and protective equipment for any and all assigned tasks that require special handling.
