This position is for a Cake Decorator in the Deli Bakery Department. The primary purpose is to provide quality customer service, maintain department standards, maximize sales through excellent customer service, and minimize shrink through proper utilization of standard practices. The role involves understanding ingredients, mixes, and icings, coordinating colors, and adhering to production and technical standards for product preparation and labeling. Sanitation, food handling, and proper merchandise management are also key responsibilities. The associate must understand and follow company guidelines, Food Safety, and Workplace Safety procedures, and report any accidents. Compliance with local, state, and federal regulations is required. The role also involves using company tools like ACIS and CAO, and completing required training.
