(18yrs+ to apply) Cake Decorator - Cape Girardeau
About The Position
This position is for a Cake Decorator in Cape Girardeau. The role involves providing friendly and courteous service to customers, assisting them with product selections, and decorating, icing, frosting, and creating custom cake orders. The Cake Decorator will also package fresh-baked products, slice and wrap bread, stock product displays, rotate product, prepare out-dated product for thrift stores, order decorated cakes from the bakery plant, and bake cookies. Constant cleaning of the work area and equipment following company safety and sanitation procedures is also required. Other duties may be assigned by store management. Training will be provided at the store level.
Requirements
- 18 years or older to apply
- Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work on feet for entire shift (4-8 hours)
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred for Store/Facility Teammates
- Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred for Store Support Center Teammates
- Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
- Manager approval based on performance if invited for an interview
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
