Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of cake decorating experience in a commercial or retail bakery setting.
Skilled in decorating techniques and color coordination.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Manual dexterity for precise decorating tasks.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Good communication and time management skills.
Familiarity with food safety and sanitation principles.
Flexibility to work extended hours, holidays, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

Decorate sheet, round, and layer cakes, as well as cupcakes, per customer and internal specifications.
Assemble, prep, slice, and package finished bakery products.
Operate and sanitize production equipment, including slicers and packaging machines.
Label, inspect, and sort baked goods for quality control and order fulfillment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols, including HACCP, GMPs, SSOPs, and SQF.
Immediately report any food safety or quality concerns to a supervisor.
Assist other bakery staff as needed to meet production goals.
