About The Position

As a Cake Decorator, you will drive member service in your bakery area to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will work collaboratively with other associates to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations. You will be responsible for planning bakery productions, ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of decorative designs, following recipe instructions, and working with various products to create decorative elements on bakery items. You will also ensure adherence to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management, while operating, maintaining, and sanitizing equipment. Additionally, you will leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience, prepare for seasonal events, identify member needs, assist members with purchasing decisions, and resolve member issues and concerns. You will also act as a brand advocate, strengthen the team by helping, developing, and mentoring others, and maintain the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance.

Requirements

• 6 months' experience in fresh production area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with cross functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools tasks and resources.

• Follows recipe measurement instructions working with a variety of products for example decorating bags tips nozzles to create decorative flowers and lettering on bakery items.
• Ensures adherence to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management.
• Operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment.
• Leverages digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
• Drives the performance of the bakery area ensuring quality and date control standards.
• Eliminates waste and prepares for seasonal events that impact the bakery volume.
• Identifies member needs, assists members with purchasing decisions, and resolves member issues and concerns.
• Acts as a brand advocate by valuing the members experience in Bakery and modeling high quality service and products.
• Interacts with associates to understand roadblocks and assists in training, developing, influencing, and inspiring them.
