About The Position

Cake Decorator is responsible for preparing and producing high-quality food and products to meet or exceed customer and company expectations. This role involves decorating specialty cakes, including the use of a photo cake computer, as well as decorating cupcakes and cookies. The decorator will also maintain cookie and cake cases, take telephone orders for food and specialty cakes, and maintain table cakes. Responsibilities include proper rotation and dating of Food Service products, maintaining product inventory and ordering, and ensuring display cases, workstations, and surrounding areas are kept neat and clean. A key aspect of the role is ensuring all special cake orders are ready for customer pickup on time. Food Service Associates are expected to be cross-trained in multiple areas with varying responsibilities.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies

Food Service experience a plus, but not required
