About The Position

As a Cake Decorator, you create decorated cakes and desserts by preparing icings, applying designs, and completing custom orders according to established recipes and decoration standards. You add finishing touches that make products attractive and ready for display or customer orders.

You maintain a clean, organized work area and keep display cases stocked and visually consistent. You process customer orders, review order details, and complete decorations to match requested specifications. The role is fast-paced and requires consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous cake decorating experience is required.
• Available to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to stand for extended periods and use hands continuously.
• Able to occasionally lift or move products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Able to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues about orders and custom requests.
• Able to manage multiple orders, maintain accuracy, and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare icings, whipped toppings, and decorative elements using standard methods.
• Decorate cakes and pastries using icing, piping, finishing, and other design techniques.
• Complete custom orders according to customer specifications, order details, and established standards.
• Process customer orders and interpret order forms, tags, and production instructions.
• Keep display cases stocked and visually consistent.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow sanitation and product-handling requirements.
• Manage multiple orders and changing priorities while meeting timelines.
