About The Position
Magnolia Bluffs Casino, located on the historic site of the former Learned’s Mill, is seeking to expand its team as a Cage Supervisor. This position reports directly to the Cage Manager and is responsible for overseeing cage personnel, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing excellent customer service. The casino offers a dynamic gaming and hotel experience.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Two (2) to Three (3) years cashier experience.
- Knowledge of Currency Transaction Reporting requirements.
- Able to lift and carry 30 lbs. occasionally.
- Able to stand for up to 6-8 hours.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of State of New York gaming rules a plus.
Responsibilities
- Recommend, document and issue disciplinary action.
- Conducts interviews and makes recommendations for new personnel.
- Provides supervision, guidance and evaluates all cage personnel including Leads, Booth Cashiers, Main Bankers, and Drop/Soft Count personnel.
- Responsible for daily and weekly schedule assignments of Cage personnel.
- Provides support and information to VGM department by utilizing MGAM Management Terminal.
- Operates MGAM Validation Terminal cashier station, Financial service window, NY Claim Center or Main Bank if needed.
- Complies and enforces all State regulations and SCR internal controls and policies.
- Monitors, fills and repairs self-redemption units.
- Performs all duties as assigned.
- Promotes outstanding customer relations.
