Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of three (3) years cashier experience or one (1) year Main Bank experience. Supervisory experience preferred but not necessary. Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Able to work flexible schedule which includes days, nights, weekends and holidays based on the needs of the business. This will be determined by operational needs.

Responsibilities

  • Recommends, document and issues disciplinary action.
  • Performs and provides guidance in all areas of Cage operations including Drop and Count.
  • Provides supervision, guidance and evaluates all cage personnel including Cage Leads, Main Bankers, Booth Cashiers and Drop/Soft Court Team.
  • Responsible for counting and reporting number of bill validator boxes removed from and returned to soft count room.
  • Responsible for transporting bill validator boxes to and from soft count room.
  • Responsible for testing and ensuring accuracy of counting equipment.
  • Responsible for recording and ensuring accuracy of all currency from bill validator boxes.
  • Monitors and complies with safety guidelines related to operation of counting equipment, carts and mechanical mule.
  • Provides support and information to the VGM department.
  • Complies and enforces all NYGC regulations and SCH internal controls.
  • Monitors, fills and repairs self-redemption units.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
  • Promotes outstanding customer relations.
  • Able to lift and carry 30 lbs. occasionally.
  • Able to stand for 6 to 8 hours.
