About The Position

The Cage and Club Cashier is responsible for providing a gracious, kind, and warm level of service that creates a sense of fondness, embodying Hometown Hospitality and having fun with guests. This role requires strict adherence to Internal Control Policies and Procedures, state regulations, the Bank Securities Act, Title 31 Rules and Regulations, and the company’s Responsible Gaming Plan. The cashier will safeguard company assets, maintain accountability for all funds entrusted to them, and balance all money transactions and paperwork. They will handle guest financial and club transactions, be alert for fraud, and ensure cash inventory is well secured. Additionally, the role involves issuing free slot play and food coupons, entering new Club memberships, promoting Club membership, and conducting themselves in a professional, courteous, and responsive manner that reflects positively on the company's core values of Fun, Friendly, and Community. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older to apply.
High school diploma or GED.
Must have a friendly demeanor and be able to communicate well with the public.
Must be able to work in an intense and fast paced environment where a high degree of concentration is necessary to perform required job duties.
Must demonstrate positive/enthusiastic approach to all assignments.
Attendance and punctuality are an essential function of the position.
Must be clean, well-groomed, and have a professional appearance.
Must have an optimistic outlook, proven track record of leading, inspiring, success in service excellence, attention to quality details, great communication skills and know how to deliver fun.

Responsibilities

Safeguard company assets and adhere to all cage and club policies and procedures.
Maintain and is held accountable for all funds entrusted to him/her on an assigned shift.
Create teamwork by helping co-workers with essential function.
Balance all money transactions and paperwork.
Meet all attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures to include strict adherence to attendance and appearance guidelines as well as confidentially regarding player information.
Handle guest financial as well as club transactions.
Be alert for fraud, forged/counterfeit currency and/or vouchers.
Balance all funds under his/her responsibility and prepare reconciliation reports accordingly.
Ensure at all times that the cash inventory is well secured.
Issue free slot play, up to authorized limit, and food coupons to guests.
Enter all new Club memberships and data entry; promotes Club membership.
Conduct him/her in a gracious, kind and warm manner that creates a sense of fondness, as well as professional, courteous and responsive manner, which reflects positively on the company and its core values of Fun, Friendly and Community.
Attend required training sessions offered by the casino.
Obtain required license(s).
Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member’s department.
Have knowledge of the Property’s programs to address problem gambling.
Consult with the appropriate individuals and maintain an effective system of written policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with gaming regulations and Internal Controls.
Take the appropriate steps to investigate exceptions, fraud, and potential violations and report such instances to the appropriate levels of management.
Report any acts of wrongdoing on behalf of any staff member that they have knowledge of.
