About The Position

The Cage Cashier exchanges tickets for cash, cash equivalents for front money deposits, and approved checks for cash. The role answers patron questions and provides solutions professionally, represents the company at internal and external meetings and events, and ensures guest interactions follow Mychoice reward program guidelines. The employee follows position-specific cleaning, sanitation, and PPE guidelines and performs other duties assigned by department or company management.

This position is based primarily inside a building in a loud environment with bright lighting and exposure to airborne particles, toxic fumes and/or chemicals, and second-hand smoke. Guest areas are smoking environments; employee areas are non-smoking except in designated areas. The role requires physical activity including standing, handling objects, reaching, and lifting or moving items, with duties potentially performed in confined spaces. The starting salary is $12.00 plus a toke pool.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of prior work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts and apply them to practical situations.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to respond to common guest inquiries or complaints.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to present information and respond to guest questions.
• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to written, oral, or diagrammed instructions and solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
• Physically mobile, with reasonable accommodations, including ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 pounds; perform reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, stacking, crouching, kneeling, and balancing; and work in varying areas such as confined spaces.
• Regularly stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; frequently reach with hands and arms and talk or hear; and have close, color, and peripheral vision.
