About The Position

This role is responsible for greeting and servicing customers in accordance with established guest service standards. The Cage Cashier handles financial transactions including exchanging cash for slot tickets, performing credit checks, and cashing checks. They also process checks, compute, classify, record, and verify cash and coin according to specific policies and procedures and guest service standards. Additionally, the role involves providing even exchange of cash and exchanges of receipts for cash, processing jackpots, and providing change and breaking down bills. The Cage Cashier is responsible for balancing funds and assets at the end of their work shift and for sports wagering ticket redemption at a dedicated cage window. There is an opportunity to work as a Sportsbook Writer before or after a scheduled shift, as well as on days off. The position requires responding to guest questions and concerns and complying with all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and its regulations, including Title 31 Cash Transactions, Suspicious Activity Reporting, and Customer Identification requirements. All other duties as assigned will also be performed.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.
  • Regularly required to see, talk or hear; stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.
  • Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor under frequently fast paced work conditions.

  • One or more years cashier or related experience preferred.
