About The Position
St. Peter Catholic School, in the Brookside neighborhood of Kansas City, MO, is seeking a Cafeteria Worker. The ideal candidate will provide a cordial atmosphere for school students and staff; bring applicable knowledge and skills; and foster a positive team morale. This position is part-time, based on a 20-hour workweek, and reports to the principal.
Requirements
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be organized and efficient
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds
- Must have or be willing to obtain Kansas City Food Handler Certification
- All employees are required to consent to a background check, commit to our Code of Conduct policy, and complete online and in-person trainings prior to hire.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred
- Prior cafeteria or food services experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Set up cafeteria before lunch and clean up after
- Processes POS Transactions
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Restock napkin dispensers
- Assist with food preparation and production
- Clean lunch dishes and commercial food production equipment
- Other duties as assigned
