About The Position
To maintain a safe environment in the school cafeteria. This position involves assisting with the organization of students, monitoring their behavior, and helping with the rotation of students during the lunch hour, including cleaning tables. The role requires the ability to stand for long periods and is performed in a school cafeteria and/or playground environment. The position is a 175-day contract with hours limited to the time required for serving lunch.
Requirements
- Criminal Background Check required
- Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with organization of students when they arrive in the cafeteria.
- Assist students with needs while they are having lunch.
- Monitor student behavior in the cafeteria.
- Assist with duties necessary to rotate groups of students during the lunch hour, such as cleaning tables.
