About The Position
Northampton Public Schools is seeking a Cafeteria Assistant for Jackson Street Elementary School. This is a part-time position working 15 hours per week, 3 hours per day, Monday through Friday, on school days. The role involves various food service activities, including operating the POS system, meal accountability, assisting with meal preparation and service, and cleaning. The position requires adherence to all local, state, federal health, and USDA meal regulations.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Acceptable MA CORI and SAFIS National Fingerprint Background Checks prior to employment
Nice To Haves
- Some food service experience is desirable but not required
