About The Position
Bean Sprouts is seeking enthusiastic individuals with food service or retail experience for part-time Cafe Team Member positions. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, taking orders, preparing food and beverages, and maintaining a clean dining area within a hip and healthy café concept located inside the Kohl Children's Museum. This is a great opportunity for students and offers advancement potential within a rapidly expanding, women-owned company.
Requirements
- Enthusiasm and dedication to excellent customer service.
- Have a Food Handlers Permit. If you don't have one yet, we will help you get one.
- Be able to reach, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds and work in a standing position for long periods of time with or without accommodation.
- Successful passage of a criminal background screen is required to meet position eligibility. Bean Sprouts will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable legal requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Back of house/kitchen experience is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Greet guests enthusiastically and provide an exceptional guest experience
- Take orders, receive payments, and assist guests
- Prepare food and beverages
- Maintain a clean and sanitized dining area and front of house
- Any additional tasks needed to run the day-to-day café operations as assigned
