About The Position
The Buffalo Trace Café Team Lead plays a key role in creating a memorable food and beverage experience for visitors at the Distillery. This position leads day-to-day café operations, ensures a welcoming and visually appealing environment, and coaches team members to deliver exceptional service. It’s a hands-on leadership role with opportunities to grow talent, influence sales, and shape the visitor experience.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in food and beverage operations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Supervisory or team leadership experience
Responsibilities
- Lead daily café operations, ensuring a well-stocked, organized, and guest-ready environment
- Coach, train, and support team members to deliver outstanding customer service
- Monitor inventory, vendor relationships, and merchandising to drive sales and control costs
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and on-the-floor leadership during operating hours
- Analyze visitor feedback and data to recommend improvements and enhance the guest experience
