CAFE STOCKER (FULL TIME)
About The Position
We are hiring immediately for a full time CAFE STOCKER position. This role involves setting up, stocking, and maintaining self-service beverage stations, replenishing grab-and-go coolers, merchandising and stocking fresh fruit and condiments, and organizing flatware, china, glassware, and disposable service items. The position also includes setting up and maintaining afternoon candy stations, wiping and resetting tables, and cleaning and sanitizing work areas and equipment. Providing friendly and efficient customer service, addressing customer concerns, and following company service standards, inventory control, and cash-handling policies are key aspects of this role. Maintaining compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements is also essential. The job summary indicates preparing, presenting, and serving food as needed, including prep work like washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables, weighing and measuring ingredients, and storing food properly. Associates will serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner and resolve customer concerns.
Requirements
- Previous 1 year of food service experience required.
Responsibilities
- Set up, stock, and maintain self-service beverage stations throughout the day.
- Replenish grab-and-go coolers with beverages, sandwiches, salads, snacks, and other food items.
- Merchandise and stock fresh fruit, condiments, and other items for guest consumption.
- Polish, stock, and organize flatware, china, glassware, and disposable service items.
- Set up and maintain afternoon candy stations; clear and replenish as needed.
- Wipe and reset tables during and after high-volume service periods.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and dining spaces in accordance with company standards.
- Provide friendly, efficient customer service and assist guests as needed.
- Address customer concerns professionally and communicate relevant information to supervisors.
- Follow company service standards, inventory control procedures, and cash-handling policies when applicable.
- Maintain compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
- Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
- Carries pans, kettles and trays of food to and from work stations, stove and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
- Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety and rotation procedures.
- Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
- Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
- Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control.
- Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
- Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to supervisor.
- Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
- Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
