About The Position

The Café Manager is responsible for leading the daily operations of a premier, high-volume corporate dining café, ensuring an exceptional guest experience and the consistent execution of hospitality and service standards. This role oversees front-of-house operations, supervises and develops associates, and fosters a culture of service excellence tailored to a sophisticated corporate clientele. This position is ideal for a hospitality-focused leader with experience in high-volume dining environments, a passion for exceptional customer service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-centric setting.

Requirements

  • At least 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Operational knowledge of cash handling procedures and food service equipment
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and the internet

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Experience in a high-volume cafe operations setting preferred
  • ServSafe or Department of Health Certification is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Hires, supervises, trains, and coaches associates.
  • Plans, markets, and executes special events/promotions in the cafe
  • Ensures compliance with proper sanitation and cleaning standards
  • Operates within the budget and identifies new ways to improve the business
  • Manages cafe operations
  • Performs other duties as assigned
