About The Position

As a Cafe & Experience Team Member, also known internally as a Brand Ambassador, your mission is to bring the Righteous brand to life at our HQ gelato factory, coffee bar, and out in the community. You will be responsible for hosting unforgettable fan tours, leading public Gelato Academy making classes, and crafting exceptional cafe moments. Through high-energy events, sampling, and daily guest interactions, you will turn everyday visits into lasting impressions and lifelong fans.

Requirements

Must be fully available Thursday through Sunday, 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM.
Valid driver's license for driving Bambino (our mini gelato truck).
Clean abstract.
Access to a reliable vehicle for every shift.
Possession of a cell phone.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable being on your feet for the duration of your shifts.
Ability to provide exceptional customer service and create meaningful fan experiences.
Friendly, positive, and passionate about connecting with people.
Proactive and able to identify and complete tasks without constant supervision.
A strong team player who can also take initiative and work independently.
Demonstrate the Ten Things That Require Zero Talent: Being on time, work ethic, effort, body language, energy, attitude, passion, being coachable, doing extra, being prepared.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in hospitality, food service, cafes, bars, or guest services is highly preferred.
Experience working safely with food, commercial kitchen spaces, or a background in baking/pastry is a massive asset for our Gelato Academy classes.
Comfort engaging with large groups, public speaking/storytelling, and creating memorable, crowd-pleasing moments.
Comfortable working in different environments, from high-volume sampling booths to structured cafe shifts.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional, on-brand experiences in the factory café, serving premium gelato and beverages, and engaging directly with fans.
Own the execution of public factory tours and Gelato Academy classes, ensuring consistency, high energy, and top-tier guest entertainment.
Maintain a warm, welcoming environment that reflects the Righteous brand and turns first-time visitors into loyal fans.
Bring authentic personality, energy, and genuine human connection to every shift.
Represent Righteous at events, in-store demos, and community activations across Calgary.
Serve and sample products while sharing the company's story, clean ingredients, and unique selling points.
Safely transport product and materials to and from events.
Capture quick notes and insights from demos and events to help the company learn what fans love.
