About The Position

Restaurant Associates is launching a new site in Perth under its corporate catering sector and is seeking an experienced Cafe Chef to lead this premium operation. This full-time role is ideal for a chef who excels in a professional, fast-paced environment and is dedicated to delivering high-end dining experiences. The chef will lead culinary operations for a prestigious corporate client, focusing on fine dining, executive catering, and polished corporate events, with occasional evening functions. The role involves providing onsite catering with exceptional customer service, showcasing seasonal produce, sustainability, local producers, and industry trends. The chef will also be responsible for guiding and mentoring the team, championing allergy awareness, and complying with OH&S and food safety guidelines.

Requirements

Certificate 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery
Great communication and customer service skills
Experience in a comparable venue environment including multi-venue catering
Proven ability to deliver a range of menus including canapes, plated dinners, buffets, corporate meetings, and themed special events
Comfortable working with and leading a small team to deliver dynamic and creative events to the clients
Thorough knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations, and ability to design and implement new systems and processes
Strong attention and respect for OH&S, Food Safety & HACCP regulations

Responsibilities
