About The Position
The Arc Ontario is seeking an outgoing and customer-focused Café Attendant for the North Star Café. This role involves providing excellent customer service, serving food and beverages, operating the cash register, and maintaining the cleanliness of the café. The position is relief/substitute with varying hours based on business needs and schedule flexibility. The Arc Ontario has a culture of investing in staff within a flexible and fun work environment, believing that all individuals with disabilities or other challenges are one with their community.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years old.
- High school diploma preferred or an equivalent amount of education/experience required.
- Some food service experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assists with general operations of North Star Cafe.
- Perform routine food service activities related to serving food and beverages.
- Perform cashiering duties in the sale of food and drink items to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness of café facilities.
- Prepare facilities for the serving of food and beverage.
- Stock necessary supplies.
