About The Position

The Cafe Attendant is responsible for creating a warm and positive experience for members, assisting them with product selection, maintaining a clean and organized cafe area, managing transactions accurately, following food handling and safety procedures, preparing food and juice bar items, and collaborating with teammates and supervisors.

Requirements

• Must obtain an Illinois Food Handlers Certificate within 30 days of employment (at your own expense)

Nice To Haves

• Monday availability is a must
• Flexible for Saturdays and Sundays preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet every member by name and create a warm, positive experience from the moment they arrive
• Use strong communication skills to answer questions and assist customers with product selection, ensuring they have everything they need
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting café area that reflects FFC’s commitment to superior service
• Manage transactions accurately, ensuring that the register reflects all sales and services
• Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures according to local, state, and federal health codes
• Craft food and juice bar items following company recipes to delight our members
• Work closely with your teammates and supervisor, taking on additional responsibilities as needed to keep the café running smoothly
